Meet David Dellanave
Meet David Dellanave, one of HYLETE’s most active Team Captains. If therewere a modern incarnation of a 19th century physical culturist, he might look something like David. Combining a passion for old-time strongman lifting with a cutting-edge approach to training, David has created a dynamic at his gym, The Movement Minneapolis, that embodies the philosophy of self-improvement espoused by his circus strongman predecessors.
He coaches a diverse range of athletes from stay-at-home moms to national team rugby players and World Cup ice climbers, which he says tests his skill and broadens his knowledge and abilities as a coach.
Not being one to settle for a single venture, David is an entrepreneur, angel investor, shade-tree mechanic and avid skydiver. When he’s not tinkering at things, he’s probably napping on the couch with his two dogs and his wife, Jen Sinkler, a prominent trainer and fitness writer.
Shoes: Ever since discovering INOV8 shoes, they have hardly left my feet. The HYLETE cross-trainers combined the superiority and proven excellence with a little bit of HYLETE swag. They’re perfect for everything from trail running to power cleaning.
Shorts: Perfect fit, pockets in all the right places, exactly the right weight and breathability of fabric – there is nothing that could make the HYLETE cross-training shorts any better than they already are. I wear them nearly all day every day, and they look as good as they day I got them.
Hoodie: Let’s face it, most hoodies are made for guys with big bellys not wide backs and broad shoulders. Not so with the HYLETE hoodie that is perfect for the beginning of those workouts in a cold gym or on a crisp evening.
