GRID is Back- 2nd Season with Noah Ohlsen from the LA Reign

NOAH OHLSEN LOOKS TO CAPITALIZE ON LAST YEARS MOMENTUM

Los Angeles, CA (April 27, 2015) – The Los Angeles Reign announced today they will resign Noah Ohlsen for the 2nd season of the NPGL. The Los Angeles Reign are looking to keep a lot of last year’s team intact and add on some key new additions which will hopefully lead to a championship season.

“I’m excited to see Noah back on the team for season 2. Noah has worked hard in the off season to become a better all around athlete moving more weight with the barbell and continues to make huge strides in his gymnastics skills. One of the fittest men in the planet, without question- Noah will be a huge difference maker on the Reign in its quest for a championship this season. ”

The 23 year old Noah Ohlsen, graduate from the University of Miami, looks to bring back his strengths to the Reign in hopes of leading the team to a championship. Usually known as a generalist, Noah specializes in the gymnastic aspect of the GRID. In the offseason Noah focused heavily on making his barbell lifts faster and perfecting his specialty, gymnastics.

“Last season was a great year and every match was so close but we just fell” said Noah Ohlsen. “We lacked one super strong guy and a few other keys players but in the offseason the Reign did a great job of signing some great players that will definitely give us a great opportunity to win.”

Noah is originally from Providence, Rhode Island but now resides in Miami, Florida with his family, friends and his golden retriever named Maximus. He is moving out to Southern California prior to the start of the 2015 season to regroup and start training with the team.

The LA Reign is head up by 2nd year Coach Dusty Hyland. His roster includes the return of Sarah Pierce, Tonia Osborne, Wayne Willette, Jeremy Herider, Michael Hernandez, Kris Cleaver, Sheila Barden and Chelsey Grigsby and newcomers James Townsend.

You can catch the LA Reign on NBC Sports Group which will telecast at least five regular-season Grid League matches on NBC Sports Network, as well as all seven playoffs matches this summer. NBC will broadcast an encore presentation of the NPGL Championship on NBC. All races shown on NBC and NBCSN will be streamed on NBC Sports Live Extra, NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices and tablets.
