Sweat RX Workshop

August 14-15, 2013
Metro Toronto Convention Centre
as part of the canfitpro Conference and Trade Show
255 Front St W Toronto, ON M5V 2W6

Join Olympic team members Chad Vaughan and David Durante for their one-stop only Canadian Movement and Mobility Optimization Clinic.

“We have put together a top team of coaches to help you achieve your athletic goals.”

Barbell and gymnastic movements are not best executed by “muscling” a barbell overhead or your body on top of the rings. Rather, they are about set up, finesse, position, aggressiveness, and THEN strength! We can show you where to start, how to move forward, and where to focus to aid you in your journey of honing these skills. In addition, weightlifters and gymnasts are known as the 2 most flexible athletes in the Olympics, and as so, Chad & Dave and I have undoubtedly become mobility experts by default. You will not find your best technique without the flexibility to create a necessary transition point in either discipline and the perfect pulling technique in weightlifting doesn’t mean much without the mobility to support the reception of the weight to therefore complete the lift. This will all be reinforced with the eye of Coach Jodi Vaughn, the mobility expertise of Dr. Michael Tillman, and the programming of Coach David Tillman, who will show you how to combine exercises to strengthen your positions, develop your patterns, and best benefit from the full movements, to tie it all together.
